3D Air Hockey is a fun little physics-based game that's based on the real-life air hockey table. Use your mallet to execute straight shots and bank shots to get the puck into the computer's goal. Be the first to reach your target score and win the game! This game comes with three different target scores (3, 7, and 10) and three difficulty levels. You can also turn the music and audio off or on by pausing the game.
Instructions
Click and hold your mouse button on the puck, then move it around the board. You can only play on your own side of the table. Try to hit the puck into your opponent's goal while blocking them from scoring on your own goal.
Tips and Tricks
The computer basically just follows the puck, regardless of which side of the board it's on. At the lower level, the computer is a little slower, which makes it easier to score. At the maximum difficulty level, the computer is really fast, which makes scoring really tough. Your best bet is to try for a bank shot to get the puck behind the computer's mallet.
3D Air Hockey Review
This is a decent little air hockey game, but it can sometimes feel a little clunky. It's easy to get the puck "stuck" under your mallet near the side walls (or "rails" as they're referred to in professional circles). When that happens, the puck will shoot out really fast toward the opponent's side of the table. On the easy level, it's not too hard to score; I still haven't scored at the highest difficulty level. The background music is very repetitive, so you might want to turn that off. Unfortunately, that also turns off the sound effects. Bottom line: This online air hockey game is okay, but it has room for improvement.
