MomoPop: Barn Yard Bubble Popper

In MomoPop, the barnyard animals are generally pretty happy, but they'd like to leave the farm and do a bit of sight-seeing. However, they can only go in groups of three or more. This match-3 bubble popper game is similar to Candy Crush and Bejeweled, with cute characters such as cows, ducks, bluebirds, snakes, and ghosts on the tiles. (What, you didn't have snakes and ghosts on your farm?)

Instructions

To play, just click and slide the character tiles to create a row of three (or more) either horizontally or vertically. A row of four creates a striped powerup that can clear an entire column or row when it's removed. Matching three vertical/three horizontal (in a "T" or right-angle combo) creates a star bomb that can remove all the adjacent tiles. Five in a row creates a rainbow powerup that can be combined with any tile to either remove all matching tiles (for example, rainbow + cow = remove all cow tiles from the board) or you can combine it with other powerups to create lots of stripe or bomb tiles. For the biggest effect, combine two rainbow tiles to clear all tiles from the board.

The first few levels of this bubble popper game will help you get familiar with it, and all you'll need to do is score enough points to complete the level. As you get farther in, you'll have specific requirements, such as clearing certain types of blocks, etc. You'll only get a limited number of moves to complete your goal, so keep an eye on your "moves remaining" counter.

Bubble Popper Tips and Tricks

Watch for combo opportunities, and (in general) try to match the tiles that are lower on the board so that you'll increase the likelihood of automatic combos as new tiles drop into the board.

This bubble popper is probably on par with most Candy Crush style games. The combo moves should be fairly familiar to you if you've played other games like this. The larger size of the characters, combined with the friendly music, make this a good game for kids.

Further Thoughts

I actually grew up on a farm. At one point, it was a dairy farm, but then we switched to beef cattle. We didn't have any ducks, but we did raise chickens - which sometimes brought in the aforementioned snakes. As far as I know, we didn't raise any ghosts, although there was a cemetery on the property, so... maybe?
